Which 3rd place teams move on

In order of precedence:

1. Higher number of points in their Group stage (3pts for win, 1 pt for a tie)
   (EX: a group B 3rd place team with 4 points moves on over a group C 3rd place team with 3 points)
2. Superior goal difference (goals scored minus goals surrendered)
3. Higher number of goals scored
4. Fair play conduct (involves red and yellow cards and attractiveness of play)
5. Position in the UEFA national team coefficient ranking system

How your selections get points (pts)

• 2 pts for picking 1st & 2nd place teams (either order) from Group (Max = 12)
• 1 pt for picking each Round of 16 winner (Max = 8)
• 2 pts for picking each Quarter Final winner (Max = 8)
• 3 pts for picking each Semi-Final winner (Max = 6)
• 5 pts for picking The Winner (max = 5)
• 0 pts for picking 3rd place teams but they could get you pts later on
